Here are a few of our favorite Big Ideas from Session 2!

Big Idea #1: The House of Peace

The Second House in the Manifestation Wheel is the House of Peace. This part in the manifestation process is about making peace with your intention and its potential. It is about releasing the past, the beliefs, habits and practices that are holding you back.

There may be old dreams that you need to let go of, realizing that their time has passed and that, by letting go of them, you engage that which wants to happen now.

As we walk in the House of Peace, we are not trying to eradicate conflict. We are changing our response to the conflict and entering a place where we don’t fight the existence of challenges. Instead, we listen to their message and learn what they’re asking of us. When we enter this dialogue, we take the power away from the difficulties in our lives.

The House of Peace is also about making sure that your project is in alignment with the fundamental core of your being. Your gut feeling about the project and the process of making it happen has to be good and the Second House is about creating that kind of alignment.

Big Idea #2: Soul and Ego

We've all heard of the Soul and the Ego. But do we really know what they are?

The Soul lives in the body and in consciousness. It understands the Big Picture, the vision and the dream. It loves creation and evolution - these are the oceans it happily swims in. It thrives on adventurelearningdiscovery and growth. Soul knows nothing about the rules and structures of daily life, it has no arms or legs. It has no clue about how the world works but it's incredibly comfortable exploring the unknown.

The Ego is rooted in the physical world. It is the part that thinks, the intellect, the part that distinguishes itself from other. It organizes, makes plans, gets things done, functions in the Horizontal, insures your survival and makes sure that nothing threatens your well-being. We need the Ego

The Ego is not interested in risk. It's trying to insure your survival.

Big Idea #3: Ego and Soul in Partnership

Ego and Soul are pieces of one puzzle. They are the two wings you need to fly. The Soul is the captain, the Ego is the very able crew. If the Ego feels safe, it can surrender to the leadership of the Soul

We've all had times when we're ready for a big new step in our lives. But then the Ego steps in and says, "Are you crazy?"

At this point, we have to recognize that the Ego is just afraid. It's working to protect us. The Soul needs to wrap its arms around the Ego and tell it that it's safe and that it needs the Ego's skills. The Soul can't do it on its own

The Ego and Soul take a small risk and the Ego says, "Hmm, I didn't die." But when you're ready to take the next step, the Ego is scared again. Once again the Soul convinces the Ego that everything is okay. It does so gently and with kindness. In time, the Ego starts to trust the Soul. "Maybe the Soul really is wise," it thinks.

By taking care of the Ego, we help it mature. It can grow up and create a powerful Ego-Soul partnership.
