The Context

Big Idea #1: It is More Important to Know What Not to Eat, Than to Know What to Eat
This is the key take away idea from this call. Now that you're done with your cleanse, it's important to pay very close attention during the re-introduction phase. How do certain foods make you feel? Knowing what specifically triggers your body is the key to your long term health and vitality.
After you've been off-cleanse for awhile, and as more offending foods sneak into your diet, it is possible to become desensitized to the foods that really trigger you. When this happens, it's time for another Cleanse/elimination diet. As you continue to eat more and more in alignment with what makes your body the healthiest, you will know which foods to keep, and which to give up for good.
Big Idea #2: John Rosania's Top Tips for Success
John has some top tips for you to succeed over the next several weeks and for the rest of your life!
The Flip: When you come home hungry, you tend to reach for foods that aren't in alignment with your best health. Immediately when you come home, go right for a smoothie. Any kind of smoothie will work. It's something that allows you to get balanced so you move past cravings and can make better decisions for dinner. It's called The Flip so that a switch occurs in your mind so you automatically have the smoothie and thus won't eat whatever is in sight.
The Principle of Adding In: You only have so much food you can eat in the day, so the more you focus on adding in really healthy foods, it's going to push out the unhealthy foods. Overtime there will be no more room for nutritionally void foods.
Creating Your Morning Routine: Ask yourself this question.. "What can I do in the morning to guarantee I'll have an amazing day?" Starting your day in proactive rather reactive mode empowers you to keep taking healthy, conscious actions all day!
For example
- Drink water
- 20 minutes of mediation
- A little bit of movement or exercise
The key to turning the above tips into habits? Commit! Make a 100% commitment to do these things until they become habitual and effortless for you :)
