Here are a few of our favorite Big Ideas from Session 3!
Big Idea #1: The House of Guidance
The fourth House in the Manifestation Wheel is the House of Guidance. This is the house where we engage our intuitive mind, piercing time and space and receiving information that is outside of our conscious thoughts.
According to Alan, doing this is possible because of Hermetic principles that underlie the nature of reality. These principles state that everything exists within consciousness and consciousness is a part of everything. In regular time, our mind is able to remember the past. But if we step into a non-linear paradigm, we are able to “remember” different pathways and different possibilities that the future holds.
The future is not yet set, and holds many potentials. We are not looking at what will be, but at what may be.
Big Idea #2: The Guidance Superhighway
In this incredible exercise, Alan shows us how to access future possibilities by visualizing a road trip.
Settle into your quiet space, breathing deeply into the energy of your potential. Feel yourself to be the embodiment of that energy.
Now imagine yourself on a big highway with many lanes, all traveling in the same direction. This is a magical highway, with exits leading to different future possibilities.
Imagine your vehicle – you can travel in any vehicle you wish. As you ride along, you begin to see signs. The first one says, “Greatest Happiness.” If you take this exit, it will take you to the outcome for your project that brings you that joy.
You take the exit. Take in as many details of this place as you can. As you stand in this outcome, what was important about how you got here? And as you feel the energy of this place, what do you love the most about it?
Consider also, what feels like the biggest challenge with this outcome? On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate this destination? Be aware that you can return here at any time.
You get back in your vehicle and travel further down the road. You keep driving and come to a second sign. It says, “Greatest Success.” You take the exit. Arriving at your destination, ask yourself the same questions you considered at the last exit.
The next exit is “Deep Inner Peace.” After carefully exploring that space, drive further down the road, to the exit that says, “Something You Never Imagined.” Go there and explore.
When you finally get back in your vehicle, pull over on the side of the road and reflect on the places you’ve visited. Consider which place you would most like to inhabit, or if you would like to build a new destination which consists of different elements of these places.
Big Idea #3: The Movie
As you’ve taken your journey, you’ve been gathering pieces for your movie. Now it’s time to watch it.
Imagine yourself standing in front of a gigantic screen. On the screen is the story of your life after your project is complete and its potential realized. Watch the movie. Experience the drama. See how it feels.
If something in the movie doesn’t feel quite right – you’re the director, you can change it! Shift things around. Change locations, actors, motivations and dialogue. Juggle it all around until the movie feels perfect.
Memorize the feeling of the completed film, what it’s like to live inside of that story.
Now zoom in to the next 30 days of your life. What needs to be the focus of your thoughts and actions in order to bring the plot to where it needs to be? Zoom in further. Watch the next 7 days, and the next 24 hours. Today, take the small steps you need to take to make your perfect movie a reality.
